Honestly, words are hard to find to describe the beauty of this country. The Democratic Republic of Congo is located in the heart of Africa. Central Africa to be exact. With the DRC being so close to the equator, the land is lush, tropical, green, and rich in resources. When driving on the road to Mumosho to visit our first sewing center and largest sewing center, one often sees kids playing on the road, women walking to fetch water, and those mini bananas hanging from trees. The landscape in Congo is stunning, breathtaking. And, for those of you who ask - sorry, no elephants. Think big silverback gorillas instead. The road to Mumosho is beautiful!
