OUR MISSION

The Peace Exchange works with marginalized regions of the world to create social enterprise, economic growth, sustainability, and entrepreneurial trainings for citizens of developing nations.

OUR VISION
Empowering and Educating Women
Education is our goal.  Fair Trade is the path.

The Peace Exchange is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization that establishes global fair trade cooperatives and gives awareness to under-represented populations.  Our artisan partners include: Congo, Kenya, Tanzania, and Native American Art. Currently we are working alongside NGO's in The Democratic Republic of the Congo, Tanzania, and Kenya.  We work directly with country locals who have created programs to empower women. The Peace Exchange has partnership with the women of the Un Jour Nouveau Sewing Program in Congo, and Artisans through HEART Africa and Walk With Rangers Programs in Kenya.  Through fair trade practices, we promote and sell their handmade items. There is no middle-man. We work directly with the artisans. We visit them. We are hands-on.

HOLISTIC FAIR TRADE MODEL

The Peace Exchange Holistic Fair Trade Model featured above gives insight into our program.  We strive to create a foundation for artisans that goes beyond the sewing machine.  Our goal is to empower women to be leaders of their own lives…
