In Congo, livestock is a sign of respect and abundance. So when we were given the chance to gift 10 more goats to the women sewing for The Peace Exchange, it was an honor. Yes, just in June we had the chance to give 10 additional goats thanks to the kindness of others.

It all started with a kindergarten class and now it has grown. The ladies of Pelican Isle along with the leadership of Marsha Harris rallied and donated funds to give the gift that keeps on giving.
The goats will be bred and the milk used as well to benefit the women and their families.

We are always so thankful and grateful ~ especially when strangers go out of their way to help those in need. Thanks Marsha and the women of Pelican Isle! From all of us at The Peace Exchange, we appreciate your generosity.
